ENGLISH LANGUAGE

English Language Accredited by BAN-PT with a grade of "B".
The English Language established in 1987, provides opportunities for high school graduates and its equivalent to earn a bachelor's degree in English language and literature.
Besides being equipped with the ability to speak and write English as well as linguistic and literary knowledge, students are also equipped with the English skills needed in the world of work, including: Business English, Practical Secretary, English for Hospitality and Tourism (English for Hotels and Tourism), English for Banking, and Translation and Language Teaching Methodology (Language Teaching Methodology).
The teaching staff consists of lecturers with Masters (S2) and Doctoral (S3) degrees who graduated from top universities abroad and within the country. Graduates of the English Language major have worked in various fields in government and private agencies. Some of them work as civil servant teachers, local government employees and lecturers at state universities, embassies and other government agencies. While private companies have recruited them, for example: banks, hotels, tourism, private universities, English language courses, export and import companies, translators and editors in publishing books and newspapers, TV stations, Production Houses producing TV soap operas, mining and NGOs that cooperate with foreign parties.

PSYCHOLOGY

The Psychology has been held since 2003 and has accredited by BAN-PT with a score of "Very Good".
Learning is supported by qualified doctoral lecturers (S-3) who are not only academically competent, but also professionally experienced in practice. With complete facilities, this major continues to develop and innovate in responding to all the challenges of the job market and stakeholders.
Psychology is the science and art of behavior, and mental processes has almost no limits in its application. Graduates can take part in a very wide range of professions. Human Resources Development Officer, Public Relations, Public Speaker, Human Resources Trainer, Behavior Analyst, Therapist in Individual, Group and Social Interventions, Educational Counselor, Career Counselor, Teacher, Job and Person Analyst, Personal and Organizational Consultant, PNS, Study Teacher , Counseling Teachers, HRD Managers and officers, Recruitment and Selection Supervisors, Trainers and Public Speakers are among the professions that have undertaken by 95% of the alumnus of Psychology. Graduates of this program earn a Bachelor of Psychology (S.Psi.).

COMMUNICATION SCIENCE

The Communication Science began organizing academic activities since 2016/2017, and has received a GOOD accreditation from BAN-PT in 2020.
With the vision of becoming a Study Program that excels in research in the application of Communication Studies in the industrial revolution 4.0 era to produce cultured and global-minded graduates in 2026, the Communication Science Program has three specializations broadcasting, public relations, and tourism communications. Learning is supported by qualified lecturers in the fields of Communication Studies 4.0., and professional practitioners in order to bring in graduates who are competent, competitive and ready to enter the world of work in the fields of broadcasting, public relations and tourism.
The learning process is built through an academic atmosphere, conducive, simple, challenging and creative and facilitated by photography laboratories, audiovisual laboratories, computer laboratories and other supporting facilities. In supporting the learning process, the major collaborates with various institutions, such as Productions Houses, Survey Institutions, SMEs, Government Institutions, Tourism Bureaus, TV Stations, Print/Online Media.
Careers for Communication Science graduates include: Broadcaster, Journalist, Announcer and Presenter, Master of Ceremony (MC), Public Relations Officer, Government and Private Public Relations Staff, Event Organizer, Marketing Communications, Photographer, Editor/Content Creator and many others.

PROGRAM STUDI BAHASA DAN SASTRA INGGRIS

Program Studi Bahasa dan Sastra Inggris Terakreditasi BAN-PT dengan nilai “B”.
Program Studi Bahasa dan Sastra Inggris, yang berdiri pada tahun 1987, memberikan kesempatan kepada lulusan SMU dan yang sederajat untuk meraih gelar sarjana di bidang bahasa dan sastra Inggris.
Di samping dibekali dengan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris lisan dan tulis serta pengetahuan kebahasaan dan kesusastraan, mahasiswa juga dibekali dengan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris yang dibutuhkan dalam dunia kerja, antara lain: Bahasa Inggris Niaga (Business English), Kesekretariatan Praktis (Practical Secretary), Bahasa inggris untuk Perhotelan dan Kepariwisataan(English for Hotels and Tourism), Bahasa lnggris Perbankan (English for Banking), Penterjemahan(Translation) dan bahasa asing seperti Bahasa Jepang dan Bahasa Perancis. Aplikasi Komputer dan Metodologi Pengajaran Bahasa (Language Teaching Methodology).
Tenaga pengajar terdiri dari dosen bergelar Master (S2) dan Doktor (S3) lulusan universitas ternama dari luar negeri dan dalam negeri. Lulusan Program Studi Bahasa dan Sastra Inggris telah bekerja di berbagai bidang baik di instansi pemerintah dan swasta. Diantara mereka ada yang bekerja sebagai guru PNS, pegawai Pemda dan Dosen PTN, kedutaan besar dan lembaga pemerintah lain. Sedangkan perusahaan swasta yang telah merekrut mereka misalnya: bank, hotel, pariwisata, perguruan tinggi swasta,kursus bahasa Inggris, perusahaan eksport dan import, penerjemah dan editor di penerbitan buku dan koran, stasiun TV, Production House penghasil sinetron tv,  pertambangan dan LSM yang bekerja sama dengan pihak luar negeri.

PROGRAM STUDI PSIKOLOGI

Program Studi Psikologi diselenggarakan sejak 2003 dan telah terakrediatasi BAN-PT dengan nilai “Baik Sekali”.
Pembelajaran ditunjang oleh dosen berkualitas dan didukung oleh dosen berkualifikasi Doktor (S-3) yang tidak saja kompeten secara akademis tetapi juga berpengalaman secara profesional dalam praktek. Dengan fasilitas lengkap, Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Gajayana terus melakukan pengembangan dan inovasi dalam menjawab segala tantangan pasar kerja dan stakeholder.
Psikologi sebagai ilmu dan seni tentang perilaku dan proses mental hampir tidak memiliki batas dalam penerapannya. Lulusan dapat berkiprah di bidang profesi yang sangat luas. Human Resources Development Officer, Public Relation, Public Speaker, Human Resources Trainer, Behavior Analyst, Terapis dalam Intervensi Individual, Kelompok dan Sosial, Educational Counselor, Career Counselor, Teacher, Job and Person Analyst, Personal and Organizational Consultant, PNS, Guru Bidang Studi, Guru BK, HRD Manajer and officer, Supervisor Recruitment and Selection, Trainer dan Public Speaker adalah diantara profesi yang telah dijalani oleh 95% alumni Program Studi Psikologi. Lulusan Program Studi di Psikologi mendapatkan gelar Sarjana Psikologi (S.Psi.).

PROGRAM STUDI ILMU KOMUNIKASI

Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi mulai menyelenggarakan aktivitas akademik sejak 2016/2017, dan telah memperoleh akreditasi BAIK dari BAN-PT pada tahun 2020
Dengan menjadi Program Studi yang unggul dalam riset dalam penerapan Ilmu Komunikasi di era revolusi industri 4.0 untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang berbudaya dan berwawasan global di tahun 2026, Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi memiliki 3 peminatan yaitu: broadcasting, public relation dan komunikasi pariwisata
Pembelajaran didukung oleh dosen berkualitas dalam bidang-bidang Ilmu Komunikasi 4.0, dan para praktisi profesional, sehingga menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten, kompetitif, dan siap terjun di dunia kerja dalam bidang broadcasting, public relation dan kepariwisataan.
Proses pembelajaran dibangun melalui suasana akademis yang kondusif, bersahaja, menantang dan kreatif dan difasilitasi dengan laboratorium fotografi, laboratorium audiovisual, laboratorium komputer dan sarana penunjang lainnya.
Untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran, Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi bekerjasama dengan berbagai lembaga seperti Productions House, Lembaga Survey, UKM, Institusi Pemerintah, Biro Wisata, Stasiun TV, Media Cetak/Online
Karier lulusan Ilmu Komunikasi di antarnya: Broadcaster, Jurnalis, Announcer dan Presenter / Master of Ceremony (MC), Public Relations Officer, Staf Humas Pemerintah maupun Swasta, Even Organizer, Marketing Communications, Fotografer, Editor Content Creator dan lain-lain.
