Strengthening the Quality of the Three Pillars: UNIGA Malang Postgraduate School Conducts Benchmarking Visit to FEB Universitas Negeri Malang

In an effort to elevate the quality of academic governance and research, the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Gajayana (UNIGA) Malang conducted a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

This strategic visit was centered on strengthening the execution of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi), which encompasses education, research, and community service. This initiative reflects UNIGA Malang's ongoing commitment to continuous innovation and quality standardization at the postgraduate level.

The delegation from UNIGA Malang was led by the Director of the Postgraduate Program, Prof. Dr. Martaleni, accompanied by the Head of the Master of Accounting Study Program, Prof. Dr. Dwi Orbaningsih, and the Head of the Master of Management Study Program, Dr. Yosar Haritsar, alongside accompanying faculty members. They were warmly received by the leadership of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Malang.

The Dean of FEB UM and faculty executives welcomed the intent of UNIGA Malang's visit. The engaging meeting served as a forum for in-depth discussions regarding the management of reputable scientific journals, curriculum development aligned with industry demands, and strategies to boost research productivity among faculty and students.

In his remarks, the Dean of FEB Universitas Negeri Malang highlighted the vital importance of inter-university collaboration in Malang to build an educational ecosystem that adapts effectively to global changes. He shared various best practices implemented at FEB UM in achieving key performance indicators.

Key highlights discussed during the meeting included accelerating scientific publications, learning innovation, and collaborative community service projects that could be jointly spearheaded by both institutions.

Through this benchmarking initiative, the Postgraduate Program of UNIGA Malang expects to adopt and adapt superior academic management systems to nurture competent and highly competitive graduates.
