The Psychology Student Study Program Association (Himpunan
Mahasiswa Program Studi Psikologi / Himpsiko) at Universitas Gajayana
(UNIGA) Malang has officially ushered in a new chapter of leadership. The
inauguration ceremony for the 2026–2027 board was held solemnly in the
Auditorium of Building B, UNIGA Malang Campus, on Thursday (April 23, 2026).
During the ceremony, Annifudin Saman was officially declared
as the new General Chairman (Ketua Umum), succeeding Melina Sukomati,
who completed her term of office (demisioner).
The core ceremony was marked by the solemn recitation of the
oath of office and the signing of the inauguration certificate. The event had
earlier been opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences
(FISB), Drs. Novi Prihananto, Ph.D.
During the main procession, Annifudin Saman was directly
inaugurated by the Head of the Psychology Study Program, M. Iksan, S.Psi.,
M.Psi. He expressed high appreciation to Melina Sukomati for her dedication
over the past year while warmly welcoming the leadership vision presented by
Annifudin.
As the elected chairman, Annifudin Saman reaffirmed his
commitment to strengthening internal solidarity among members and elevating
Himpsiko's footprint through educational and applied work programs.
"This is not merely a position, but a trust to turn
Himpsiko into an inclusive growth platform for all Psychology students at
UNIGA," Annifudin stated during his inaugural address.
The event concluded with congratulations from faculty
members and representatives from other student organizations, followed by a
photo session symbolizing the beginning of a new tenure of service.
