Universitas Gajayana (UNIGA) Malang was appointed to host an
agenda organized by the Higher Education Service Authority (Lembaga Layanan
Pendidikan Tinggi / LLDIKTI) Region VII East Java. The event focused on the
Dissemination of Implementation Procedures for Settling Professional and
Honorary Allowance Payments.
This agenda represents a strategic step to follow up on the
latest regulation, namely Permendiktisaintek Number 52 of 2025, ensuring
that the rights of lecturers within Private Higher Education Institutions (Perguruan
Tinggi Swasta / PTS) are met accurately and transparently.
Held at the Main Hall of UNIGA Malang, the event aimed to
align perceptions regarding technical payment mechanisms for allowances. Key
topics discussed included data validation, administrative efficiency, and
operational standard adjustments to comply with current regulations.
University operators serve as the cornerstone for the
successful implementation of this system. A total of 103 operators from various
private universities across East Java attended the session. Their presence was
vital, as they interact directly with reporting systems in their respective
institutions.
"Being appointed to host this event is an honor and a
reflection of our commitment to supporting synergy between private universities
and LLDIKTI Region VII for the welfare of educators," stated the Rector of
UNIGA Malang, Prof. Dr. Ernani, in her opening remarks.
LLDIKTI Region VII emphasized that under the 2025
regulations, the payment system will be more integrated. This integration is
expected to minimize administrative hurdles that previously obstructed the
disbursement of professional and honorary allowances for faculty members.
