To guarantee quality and ensure faculty performance
accountability, Universitas Gajayana (UNIGA) Malang held a Perception Alignment
session for the Lecturer Workload (Beban Kerja Dosen / BKD) for the
2025/2026 Odd Academic Year. The two-day event took place on January 19 and
January 27, 2026, at the UNIGA Malang Postgraduate Hall.
This activity, which serves as a routine end-of-semester
agenda, was officially opened by the Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs,
Gunadi, Ph.D. In his opening remarks, he emphasized that BKD is not merely an
administrative routine, but a vital instrument to capture lecturer productivity
in executing the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma Perguruan
Tinggi).
"The execution of the Tridharma must
continuously be enhanced in quality, particularly regarding scholarly
publications. We encourage all faculty members to be more active in breaking
into reputable journals as a tangible contribution to the advancement of
science," Gunadi stated before the attendees.
Moving into the core session, Head of the Academic Bureau, I
Nyoman Susipta, S.T., M.M., delivered a technical presentation regarding
performance reporting procedures via the latest system. The primary focus of
this dissemination covered three crucial stages: the performance retrieval
schedule, performance data entry, and performance evaluation conducted by two
assessors corresponding to each lecturer's field of expertise.
During this session, the Head of the Academic Bureau also
explained differences and updates within the system, including changes to the
SISTER portal web address. The interactive discussion included live simulation
exercises to help faculty members minimize technical issues as reporting
deadlines approach.
Through this perception alignment, all UNIGA Malang faculty
members are expected to fulfill their academic obligations on time and in
accordance with applicable national standards.
